Since the introduction of its first design, Plasticase has made millions of plastic cases and sold them all over the planet. Paralleling the success and trend created by Swatch (plastic watches made in Switzerland), the 639 attachecase made its debut as a fashion accessory. It sold as a cool, 'must have' school case for students and young adults through upscale department stores, trendy gift museum shops and fashion accessory boutiques.

From this first single 639 attachecase case designed by well-known industrial designer Michel Dallaire, the line has grown to more sizes and styles adapted to a wider variety of users and markets.
